2/25 — Choosing a path

Last blog, we were stuck between two paths to take our comic.

Our presentation with our colleagues was very short but very helpful in resolving this impasse. Looking at the two different ideas we had for the comic, our boss heavily preferred the funnier, more spirited version. She thought the different perspectives of each shot worked great on telling a funny, relatable story about a WPI student. Our colleagues also complimented our use of the iconic “Ben-Day” dots used to add depth in each shot.

Although, Tori and I were actually leaning towards the more serious comic design, the choice was settled. The story idea appealed better to the WPI community, as well as the comic style that was required by our client. Right after the meeting, we started working to bring that idea to fruition.

In our next blog, come and see the final comic design we present to our client.
